Not Worth The Energy

Ever since the remote was broken
the people in this house have been watching considerably less television.

Apparently getting up off of the couch to change channels is prohibitive.

Is it troubling or happy news when one realizes
that one has finally grown too lazy

to even watch TV?

Hilarious!

You've got a point. I wonder what my husband would do if the remote were completely broken? He can't watch TV without it in his hands.

As for me, I can take it or leave it. I'm much happier outside, on the computer or reading. It is possible that I may or may not be spending too much time on the computer.

HA! Oh, if only we COULD lose our remote. It's stuck firmly in someone's hand at all times. Occasionally mine, when I can pry it from my son-in-law's stone-cold hands.

I'd be lost without the remote.

It is rarely ever lost, and when it does get hidden, I tear up the living room looking for it. TV is my outlet after a long day...in fact, I ought to invest in backup remotes!!
