I've been getting this simple joy
from picking up everyone's water glasses that they keep leaving around
and emptying them into the Christmas tree stand.
Nobody is noticing
and it's sort of ruining the whole thing for me.

I think it is great! So there! haha :)
Whenever I find one of Jon's old water glasses I pour the water out into Wanda's bowl and make a big deal like it's a special treat for her. I say, "Look Wanda! People water! For you!" and she thinks it is a big deal, haha :)

Uh oh, you need an attitude adjustment. Brian is right, it is between you and the tree anyway.
