Quality Time

Tonight I came into the family room for the last 10 minutes of The Mentalist.

"Tell me, in 5 words or less, what is happening," I said to the Teenager,
who promptly responded,

"Murder,
Camp,
Axeman...
Crazy Guy."

"Got it," I said with my mouth full of raisin bran.

We slumped there together until
my cereal was gone
and the crazy guy confessed to everything.

I would like for you to take these moments and turn them into a series of greeting cards that everyone can buy and give. Or, better, use them to create more real, honest and funny versions of those"Successory" inspirational posters. Can you imagine? People would buy them to put up everywhere.

I loved this post. And I could picture you and your teenage son slumped together on the couch!

Love it.
And on a moderately related/slightly unrelated note, isn't cereal the greatest bedtime snack EVER?
