DUDE! It's the start of a movie!
Garden Gloves come to life and start growing demon-y vegetables in the garden that start little terrors in the neigbhourhood. When the gardener finds out the gloves have been up to no good - they have to save themselves by attacking. It'd be like "Christine" - except with garden gloves, dirt and seed. Or an allegory for bio-chem companies and GMOs.

Put it in front of Matt's store with a sign: "Thinking of shoplifting? You take, WE take."
They do look creepy floating in the bucket. Weird!
