Cold Snap

I was trying to think of something good about this weather
and the only think I could think of was:

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't love Springtime so much,
if Winter weren't so long and bitter.

After getting to know all the people who have to contend with snow, I feel guilty for complaining about the cold weather we get in GA. Still, I'm with you and Spring can come on quickly!

I do agree. When you have to wait for something it becomes more precious.

I read in a blog recently that each day now is one day closer to spring, so that is a good thing about winter. We keep getting more snow and there are drifts of three and four feet throughout the neighborhood, streets still white, and it still comes down in sweet little white puffs. """""""""Gads!!
We bundled up this morning and went out with the shovels to clear away enough on the long driveway so we don't get snowed in again. Good photos in your post by the way.

I totally agree! It was 72 here today [humph] and I can tell you...there's something to be said for contrast.

Happy New Year and hope all is well with you!

I never thought about it that way.

Good way to think, and to stay positive! I'll try that when I want to cry from the bitter cold.

Thank you for this. I'm struggling with being grateful today in -37 and I broke my coat. This is a good and timely reminder.

You hit the nail on the head. Squarely.

Surviving winter definitely makes the fist pump over spring that much more emphatic.

Of course, I'm living in a much milder winter than my lovely friend Michelle is.
She can pump both fists for spring.
