I was helping Twin Boy with his winter coat
because the zipper had split,
understandable since he is the third child to wear it.
But it's a really good winter coat
and the manufacturers of this particular brand
are great about customer service issues.
I told him,
"Don't worry, if this zipper is broken,
they'll send us a whole new coat!"
He looked down at it with new appreciation,
eleven-year-old wheels turning,
"Is this coat insured?"

He learned about insurance already. Kids are so smart.
I am not surprised.
I LOVE good manufacturers who will stick by their products! Whenever you get something at Best Buy, they always ask "do you want to buy a protection plan?" and I always say "don't you stand by the products you sell?" and if they give me some baloney about how it's not their responsibility, I don't get whatever product it is that I was about to purchase. Seriously, I walked out on buying a microwave there once.
Anyways, sorry for the long rant on customer service, but I love a good policy like the one your coat-maker has!
